These tickets are valid for Castle and Grounds entry from Sunday 12th February - Sunday 29th October 2023. The Castle and Grounds are open Sunday - Friday (closed on Saturdays). Please see below for closure dates.

If you would like to visit between Sunday 9th September and Sunday 17th September, please book Heritage Open Day Tickets. 

The Castle and Grounds will be closed on the following dates:

• March 24th, Castle and Rose Terrace Closed, Grounds only 
• April 27th - 28th, Castle and Grounds closed.
• July 2nd, Castle and Grounds closed.
• August 8th, Castle closed. 
• August 21st - 30th, closed for Gone Wild Festival. 
• October 6th - 8th, closed for Food Festival. 
• October 13th, Castle closed, Grounds open.
• October 27th, Castle closed. 

Certain rooms in the Castle will be closed on the following dates:

• February 27th, Servants Hall closed 
• March 10th, Music Room closed
• March 30th Servants Hall and Kitchen Closed. 
• April 21st, Music Room and 2nd Library closed
• May 23rd and 24th, Servants Hall closed
• July 5th - 6th, Music Room closed
• September 16th, Music Room closed

Please note, there will be no guided tours of the Castle on the 23rd and 24th of May or during Heritage Open Days
